Imagine this. Six black male poets from across North America, inside the St. Lawrence Centre in downtown Toronto, a stage decorated scarcely with a mic, mic stand, two Up From the Roots banners and DJ Manifest stage left, decked out with his Mac, two turntables and a mixer.
